About Animal Chiropractic
Animal Chiropractic is a division of animal healthcare utilizing an all natural approach. Our main goal is providing measurable outcomes improving your animals quality of life. When spinal or extremity segments present with loss of motion, the animal can become compromised on various levels. For example: joint fixation can lead to neurological symptoms, muscle spasms, swelling, and pain. As Chiropractic physicians, we are highly trained to locate these fixations and then treat them safely, by hand, with a light adjustment. Once your animal is out of an active condition, we always recommend wellness maintenance care to prevent future injuries and to help keep your animal thriving.
Our Story
We are truly a family owned and operated business. Our human practice opened in 2014. Over the years, we have treated various spinal conditions helping thousands out of pain and on to wellness maintenance care. In 2022 our 4 year old German Shepard (Atlas) injured himself while staying in a local kennel. He lost sensation and muscle strength in his hind legs and couldn't walk. We were told by 2 local doctors to prepare for euthanization. Needless to say, our world was turned upside down. We were determined to find a solution. Thinking about the mechanism of injury, we thought maybe Chiropractic care might help. Atlas was treated a few times by an Animal Chiropractor who is the sole reason Atlas went from unable to walk to zero issues today! In March 2023, we enrolled in the best Animal Chiropractic School, Options for Animals located in Wellsville, Kansas, completing 210 post graduate credit hours along with a board exam. Dr. Leslie Zook and Dr. John Zook are both certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA).
